Art and design - Diploma in Foundation Studies or BTEC National Diploma/Certificate?
I’ve just turned 20 and would like to go back into education. I have always had a flair for art (A*) GCSE, but gave it up at A Level (too interested in getting wasted and chasing boys - I know LAME!). My teachers were very upset at my decision and told me that I shouldn’t waste my talent. However, being a pig headed sixteen year old I ignored their advice. I drifted aimlessly through sixth form and ended up with three A Levels (French C, German D, RS D).
My father is willing to support me if I go back into education but I don’t know where to start. Should I do a BTEC in art and design or a Foundation Diploma? I haven’t got any art qualifications beyond GCSE. My drawing skills are a bit rusty but they’re still there. I’m so confused!

Go to college and do a BTEC National Diploma
By doing the BTEC you will gain more skills than jumping straight into a Foundation Diploma.
