Contentious issue but why are Muslim people anti cats?
In Dubai the Municipality (government) are putting down street cats when the charity here is doing trap release and neuter. They cite toxicoplasmosis and rabies (V. V. rare in UAE) as justification. Is this ignorance or does it have religious foundations? They also like to throw kittens out of cars on motorways 4 sport????

Muslim people are not anti-cat. I know loads of people who hate cats and aren’t Muslim. Similarly I’ve known some Muslim cat-owners.
