If you find one please let me know!!! My husband has been dragged to court for 15 yrs by a mentall ill angry ex who has cost him over $400K in legal fees and he now has lost custody & contact with his daughter and despite what the mother does (has a drug conviction now, had her nursing license revoked, 15 yr old daughter had suicide attempt in May at mom’s house), the judge is a Fem Nazi who STILL keeps her in the mother’s custody!!! Then she orders "parenting classes" & therapy B.S. which the mother fails to attend and the judge does nothing.
If a man (father) did ANY of these things, he’d have custody revoked immediately!!! (Also once the kid is a teen, if he/she says she wants the mother, the courts give in no matter how bad of a screwup the mother is).
Do they help dead beat dads avoid their responsibilities to the child?
You know the kind. Those that are supposed to pay X amount of dollars and carry insurance for the child? The ones who job hop and move state to state to avoid paying child support. Those who keep making babies that he has no intent of supporting.
Granted there are mothers who use and abuse the system, but not all of us do. There are those of us who want what is best for the CHILD.
I am all for equal and fair rights for the father, when he deserves it. But let’s not forget the children he helped concieve.
It’s about time fathers were acknowledged!
