How would i find a small children’s charity based in Manchester UK to raise money for?
I am going to run the Manchester Great North Run again this year, and want to raise money for a children’s charity. Preferably one that helps vulnerable children in the manchester area. However when i search online all i get is the large charity’s that want minimum donations etc. I just want to be able to raise as much as possible for a charity that hardly get any funding..

You have to make sure that the charity is legit. I know what you mean but what I suggest you do is register your own charity for children in Manchester and give the money from there.
I wish you the best of luck but I am on the good side of the Pennines lol I could help you a lot more if you ever wanted to do it in West Yorkshire and one day I hope you do.
Best of luck. It’s people like you who help charities, making the country better than what it is.
Dear Good heart. If you are unable to find one,We will be glad to assist the ones down here. Visit our website http://www.coralwise.org
You cannot register a charity in order to fundraise as fundraising is not a charitable object in English law. I suggest you contact Voluntary Action Manchester: http://www.vamanchester.org.uk/
Thier membership will include all the charities in the city and they can help you to get in contact with the type of organisation you want to help.
The other people who answered already have a clue about this. I just wanted to give you a boost and respect your efforts for the most important people..
