I’ve decided I want to start donating money to charity for both animals and people, but there are so many charities out there, that I don’t even know where to begin. I am also scared that some places might not be as authentic as the claim to be, and the money might not go where it’s actually supposed to. Can any of you name some reputable charities that you know of, or that you have actually donated to? Any information would be extremely helpful, thanks!

Charities that feed the poor or feed children in poor countries, or maybe those that provide help to AIDS victims, or build schools in third world countries. Or maybe charities that provide homes to animals, or the environment. Or maybe the church is your charity.

I have a whole bunch of almost new, GREAT condition stuffed animals. I want to give them to a charity that gives them to other needy children, not sells them (like Goodwill or Salvation Army). Is there a charity that passes out used stuffed animals to needy children? A tax-deductible charity would be nice, but any charity will do. I’m spring cleaning and I want to find a good use for my MANY toys. Thanks!

I belong to an animal foundation that works in Ibarra - Ecuador, what we do is to recover any animal that is on the street, we feed them, clean them, cure them etc..
Besides time, love and other things this task requires money, thats why I would like to know if there is a way that I could get support for this foundation from other ones that do the same things….
Please help me help the animals….
