easy fundraisers

I got married last year and me and hubby are not happy with our jobs. He is so fruastrated with his job and wants to get out but he has no real drive. Me, well I’m scared of this credit crunch so holding on to my job which is ok but not great… Then he wants to start a family in 2 years but we don’t even have our own place (live with in-laws), I am trying to be understanding and listen to him everyday but I’m getting frustrated. He has so much potential. At work, people are now saying he’s slacking because he’s got married but whats that got to do with our relationship. I don’t even call him at lunchtime anymore so they don’t use that excuse!!!…how do we focus and get secure foundation behind us to start a family?

I told him yesterday we’ll have to start a family in 3 years now not 2, there’s no way we can support a child!

I have sat down with him, made a plan on what we could do with time lines and milestones, but he drifts away and gets back to his old habits and loses focus. What can I do? I need to do something to radically change his mindset to help him focus

"James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) is a Fort Lauderdale, Florida non-profit organization founded in 1996 by magician and skeptic James Randi. The JREF’s mission includes educating the public and the media on the dangers of accepting unproven claims, and to support research into paranormal claims in controlled scientific experimental conditions.

The organization offers a prize of one million U.S. dollars which it claims it will pay out to anyone who can demonstrate a supernatural ability under agreed-upon scientific testing criteria. The JREF also maintains a legal defense fund to assist persons who are attacked as a result of their investigations and criticism of people who make paranormal claims."

Why has no one claimed it?
Dont you think this should be a good indicator that there is no such thing?
Do you still believe?
I think the burden of proof lies with those making the claim & since people always want you to respect their beliefs and to trust that it actually happens I would think that SOMEONE would prove it to the foundation, if not for the money then to put an end to the argument.
People give plenty of reasons for not claiming it but surely shyness cannot be a serious excuse?
As for the ghosts not wanting to put the effort in for non believers… if I was a spirit I would come along to the JREF myself to pass on a message to my non-believing boyfriend and Im pretty sure that there have been MILLIONS of non believers died since the offer began so that is a pretty poor argument as well.
Randi would not be out of business the money is already there, contributions from the scientific community have more then covered the prize.
Psychology doesn’t directly oppose science, it simply suggests theories where science draws a blank without measured experiments; conjecture without proof & educated guesses

Is this an immigration benefit?

Community leader Imtiaz Qadir, of the Active Change Foundation, said: "Honour crime happens a lot in our community, especially the Pakistani community, but we do try to educate the people.

"It’s a cultural thing that’s come from back home. The elderly people have found it hard to adjust to society in England

It wasn’t elderly people who did that to the lad even if they were behind it! I find that excuse deplorable.

It strengthens my worry about Britain in the future if we cant even control these people now!
